Aoron Siskind is an american born in new york in 1903. He was originally a documentary photographer that transitioned into an abstract genre. Before becoming a photographer, aeron used to teach english in a new york school. He discovered his passion for photography when he received a camera for his wedding. This photographer took pictures around the world and was interested in the detail and close-up images that form an abstract concept.
Siskind took part in abstract expressionism when he started photographing texture et expressing himslef through shapes and forms.
I believe this artist takes close up shots and captures the various shapes and shades to create an art peice. The first photograph, Siskind captures a very unusual abstract shapes of a tree in conderation of the light and shading. The result is a great exmaple of an abstract peice.

Abandoned Dust Bowl Home (1935-1940)

Born in New Jersey ,Dorothea Lange  studied photography at Colombia university. She became a photographer for documentaries. Dorothea took photographs of men , women and children  during the Great Depression in San Francisco .She was able to capture the misery and the emotions in those suffering men in women during the Great Depression and it made one of her most successful works.I think Dortheab has a skills to capture in her photographs as she captures them in the right moment and the black and white concept reinforces the dramatic aspect wich makes the audience feel moved by her works. We get a sense of awareness when we look at some
Her famous work such as “Migrant Mother".
